School year 1978/79

Student at the High School of Rome "San Giuseppe Calasanzio" (classic studies) and graduated

Academic year 1979/80

First year at the University of Rome " La Sapienza ", Faculty of Medicine.

1985

He completed a medical student rotation in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital , Detroit , Michigan .

1986

During his internship at the "Umberto Primo" hospital of Rome , he frequented the Emergency Department directed by Professor S. Becelli.

Academic year 1986/87

He attended at the University of Rome " La Sapienza " the Department of Surgical Anatomy directed by Professor Paolo Tullio Cimmino, where he elaborated the thesis: Gallstones of the biliary tract, discussed the 31 st October 1987.

Academic year 1987/88

He wins at the University of Catania (Sicily) the admission to the School of Specialization in General Surgery and in Emergency. He matriculated at the first year of General Surgery.

1988/89

He continued to frequent the Department of Surgical Anatomy at the University of Rome .

1989

From the month of June his new residence is in the Republic of San Marino, and frequented at the State Hospital the Department of General Surgery, doing periodical substitutions as an assistant surgeon.

1990

He results qualified for one of the 636 scholarship given for the development of training in theoretic and practice for the specific formation in General Medicine in Italy .

1991

For the first ten months he does periodic substitutions as an assistant surgeon in the Surgery Department of the State Hospital of San Marino. Since October he was assumed as assistant doctor in the Emergency Department in the same hospital.

1992

In November he completed his specialization in General Surgery at the University of Catania ( Sicily ) obtaining the highest mark possible.

1993

In May he won the competition as assistant physician at the Emergency Department of the State hospital of the Republic of San Marino . In June participates as the responsible doctor of the delegation of the National San Marino Olympic Committee at the XII Mediterranean Games held at Montpellier ( France ).

Academic year 1993/94

Won the competition for the admission to the school of specialization in Sports Medicine of the University of L'Aquila .

1994

Assumes the post of doctor responsible for the team "A.P. Titano" in the Italian basketball championship in the C1 League.

1996

Nominated member of the board of the San Marino Sports Medicine Federation.

1997

Responsible doctor of the San Marino Volley Federation (FSPAV) registered at F.I.V.B.
Responsible doctor of the San Marino Swimming Federation and the San Marino Track & Field Federation.
In June participates as responsible doctor of the National San Marino Olympic Committee to the XIII Mediterranean Games held in Bari .
In October assumes the role of member of the board of the Permanent Antidoping Committee of the San Marino National Olympic Committee.
In November obtained the maximum degree from the University of Aquila as specialist in Sports Medicine.

1998

Assumes the post of national teacher in the Technical Instruction Sector of the National Italian Swimming Federation.
Collaborates with Dr. D. Cesaretti whit the writing of the book "S. Marino avanti nello sport" edited with the contribution of the Secretary of State for Sports.
In April participates as the responsible doctor of the San Marino Volleyball Federation to the European Small States Games held in Malta .
In November as the responsible doctor and athlete participates with the "Olimpus team"
in N.Y.C. Marathon.

1999

From February performs specialist medical examinations at the San Marino Hospital for competitive athletes in the Department of Sport Medicine.
In May as member of the Antidoping Commission of the San Marino National Olympic Committee participates at the publication of the booklet "Doping? No grazie".
Assumed the medical responsibility of the junior Juvenes bicycle racing team.

2000

In August was responsible doctor for the European Beach Volley Championship in Riccione ( Italy )

2001

From February is the Director of the Department of Sportsmedicine of the Republic of San Marino .
Assumed the medical responsibility of the IX Games of the Small States of Europe held in the Republic of San Marino .

2002

Nominated President of the Anti-doping Committee of the Republic of San Marino .
In September participates in San Marino at the Meeting of the E.O.C. Commission “Preparation of the Olympic Games”

2003

In January has taken part in the sport medicine course held at Rome in Institute of Sport Science under the auspice of the I.O.C. medical Commission and Olympic Solidarity.
In march participates as delegate of San Marino Olympic Committee at the World Conference on Doping in Sport held in Copenhagen (Danmark).
Responsible doctor for the San Marino Olympic Committee to the X Games of the Small States of Europe in Malta .

2004

Responsible doctor of the San Marino Olympic Committee to the games of the XXVIII Olympiad in Athen ( Greece )
Nominated President of the Anti-doping Committee of the Republic of San Marino for 2004-2008

2005

Responsible doctor of the San Marino Olympic Committee to the XI Games of the Small States of Europe in Andorra and to the XV Mediterranean Games in Almeria (Espana)
In october participates at the European Sportmedicine Conference in Ciprus.

2007

Nominated President of the San Marino Paralympic Committee.
Responsible doctor of the San Marino Olympic Committee to the XII Games of the Small States of Europe in Monaco .

2008

In April has taken part in the course on Sports Medicine at Olympic House in Nicosia Cyprus
In November has taken part in the Scientific seminar on Sports Medicine and Antidoping for NOCs of Mediterranean Family (ICMG)

2009

In April has taken part in the course on Sports Medicine at Olympic House in Nicosia Cyprus
